Book launch

Book launch

Last year, we were asked to contribute to a book on opening a grassroots venue by the Music Venues Trust. They produced two books, one on opening venues and one on running them. We were so honoured to be asked to contribute to this national project, supported by the Mayor of London and Ticketmaster. Fiery Bird founders, Joe & Elaine, were invited to City Hall in London this month to take part in the launch. London's Night Czar, Amy Lamé, chatted to us about the importance of local grassroots venues, the contribution they make to newly developing areas and the opportunities that new developments can bring for them and the community.

We've got a couple of print copies, but here is the link to the downloadable pdf of the books.
